Neil Diamond's Greatest Hits Live by Rob Garrett

The legendary Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds Neil Diamond Tribute” Vegas residency show CONTINUES ON in the “MODERN SHOWROOMS” at Alexis Park Resort Hotel.

Neil Diamond is one of the best-selling and most iconic singer/songwriters in rock and pop music history.

More than just being one of the best-selling and concert drawing artists ever, he’s also created and performed the songs of a generation — including some of the most recognized songs on the planet.

In early 2018, shortly before his 77th birthday, Neil Diamond retired from touring after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

However, Diamond’s concert legacy continues to be celebrated for audiences throughout the world through Las Vegas entertainer Rob Garrett, often called “the best of the best”.

Ask Siri “who is the top Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll always hear Rob Garrett.

Like his musical hero, Rob Garrett was born in Brooklyn, NY.

In May 1974, his parents moved the family from New York City to the Las Vegas Valley, where, in 1976, he witnessed his first Neil Diamond concert when Diamond made his attendance-breaking Las Vegas debut at the Aladdin Hotel’s “Theater for the Performing Arts” in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him 16 more times across the country—right up until Diamond’s last American show at the LA Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett formed his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a successful 15-year run in Las Vegas and across the nation before transitioning from cover band frontman to a tribute artist dedicated to one of his boyhood inspirations.

In 1995, Garrett was hand-picked by Paul Revere, leader of “The Raiders” to portray Neil Diamond in the Honolulu production of “Legends in Concert”.

What was meant to be a limited run turned into a three-year success.

By August 1998, Garrett returned home to Las Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another two years before deciding to launch his own show.

He began a nationwide performance schedule, building a large and loyal following along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds Las Vegas.”

He continues to sell out theaters nationwide, often in venues fit for superstars.

Garrett has also earned several honors, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since he (Diamond) announced his retirement, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19th officially proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating his 50 years living in Las Vegas and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in this year, Garrett celebrates 45 years as an active Las Vegas entertainer, with the last 30 years devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist what to expect at Neil Diamond tribute Las Vegas is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has performed his show at more Las Vegas venues than any other tribute artist.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the only active Neil Diamond tribute production in America.

Alexis Park Hotel Las Vegas is located at 375 E. Harmon Ave., about a quarter mile from Paradise Road.
